GENERAL INFORMATION: The $100.00 entry fee is non-refundable and non-transferable, due upon acceptance after jurying. Applications received up to and including June 30th will be required to pay this fee; however, after that date individuals will pay $125.00 per stand.

Selection of participants for each show will be based on the jurying process, with the intent of presenting the greatest variety of quality crafts & antiques. Participation in one festival does not guarantee a space in the following event.

THE CRAFT: All items displayed or sold must be the work of the exhibitor. No one is permitted to sell any product illustrating or containing Hay Creek Valley Historical Association and Joanna Furnace logos or images. Also, no one is permitted to do face or body painting.

THE ANTIQUE: All items sold in the market must be considered antique or vintage. The Market Committee will not permit modern items such as those you may see at yard or garage sales. Items should be displayed in a clean and organized fashion. Any handmade items sold in the market used to enhance displays must be approved by the Market Committee.

During the show all booths will be observed by the committee to uphold the rules and regulations of the event. If items displayed do not conform to the items juried the Market Committee will ask that the non-conforming items be removed from the area. If this request is not honored the committee has the right to terminate the exhibitor’s booth space IMMEDIATELY without refund and will not be invited to attend future festivals.

SPACE REQUIREMENTS: All booth spaces will be 10’ deep by 10’ wide, with a space 5’ deep and 10’ wide provided behind each space for the use of the craftsperson. This area must be kept clean. Please be kind to your neighbor and do not use more than your 5' for your personal belongings. Crafters must provide their tents. Tent or canopy ropes may not extend outside the 10’ by 10’ area. No electricity is available in the market area.

VEHICLES: Vehicles will not be permitted in the juried market area from 8:00 AM to 5:30 PM each day. This is for the safety of our patrons. Loading and unloading must be done in an orderly fashion with consideration for everyone in the area. There will be spaces provided with parking for any vendor who has a handicapped vehicle plate. All crafters will have one designated parking spot in the designated parking area. Due to limited space, all trailers will need to be unhitched from the vehicle. No motor homes will be permitted on festival grounds.

PETS: Due to the issue of liability NO PETS will be allowed in the area. There are no exceptions.

EMERGENCY CONTACTS: In case of emergency, the person listed as contact on the application will be notified. All crafters must list an emergency contact. If vendor must be taken to hospital, it will be the emergency contact’s responsibility to pick up stand, craft, personal belongings and vehicle. Hay Creek personnel will not be responsible for vendors or their possessions.

FESTIVAL PROMOTION: Vendors will be listed on both Hay Creek Valley Historical Association website and in the festival handout. The information listed in both will be name, company name, telephone number, and description of items sold. If you do not want any of these items listed, please make a notation on the comment section of the application. Otherwise, all information will be listed as stated on the application. Vendors can distribute business cards at the festival to help promote their businesses.

PHOTOS: New vendors are asked to submit three photos with their applications. Returning vendors are asked to submit photos of new products. All photos will become the property of the Hay Creek Valley Historical Association and may be used for marketing purposes.

JURYING: All festival applicants will be juried. Craft applicants will be notified of the jury session date and time. Applicant will be required to present a minimum of five examples of their work at this session and will be judged on quality, craftsmanship, materials, and design. Jurying will be waived for those individuals who are certified members of a National, State or Regional Craft Guild upon presentation of such certification. Returning crafters do not have to be re-juried. Antique applicants will be juried by visitation to their antique shops.
